Barnaby Bars are making handmade chocolate bars in Covent Garden. Blowing up on social media they have the gen-z aesthetic, bright yellow and a cute crocodile mascot. The store a concept from the founder of Buns from Home with dark wood and1930’s interiors is fun, sleek and well thought out. With chunky fillings like Cinema (popcorn and toffee) and Millionaire Shortcake they take crowd favourite pairings and encase them in super thin rich chocolate. At 3 for £9, they offer a gourmet experience in price, yet they don't quite seem worth it - the fillings are pleasant but not groundbreaking. However, they are handmade and brimming with fillings, compared to your classic chocolate bar on a Tesco shelf. This might soften the blow if you're considering spending £32.40 for a box of 12 in-store.

It was nice to try and maybe worth it as a gifting experience with the cool branding but it is not going to be my go-to luxury chocolate store nor is it cheap enough to be my quick sweet treat pit stop. But for the central London market I’m sure they’ll not run out of buyers.
